AI has fast become one of the most dominant technologies in recent times, with applications encompassing all aspects of engineering, biomedical, healthcare, social science and many other disciplines.  There are significant advances in algorithm development for machine learning, but more significantly the applications of AI abound. The recent impact of ChatGPT and the upcoming BARD will bring dimensions in society that were unthinkable a short while back. All this depends on data and that too curated data. Data science is the other side of the AI coin.

This three-day academic conference aims to highlight the potential of AI and Data Science in finding effective solutions to societal challenges. Presentations at ConfAI will look at fundamental contributions in the areas of AI and Data Science. The conference will focus on theory of AI (algorithms, representation learning, data modelling, inference methods, privacy), AI applications (natural language processing, computer vision, robotics), AI for social good (digital agriculture, digital healthcare, AI for water security), and techno-philosophy (Ethics of AI) among others.
