Please mark your calendars for the exciting second instalment of Conference on Artificial Intelligence to be held from 22nd to 24th March 2023, in Mohali, Punjab. This three-day academic conference will bring together leading academicians, scientists, thinkers, and entrepreneurs working in AI and Data Science to find effective solutions to societal challenges (e.g., a highlight of last year’s program https://www.conf-ai.com/confai2022).

This year, we welcome papers/ posters/ demos from research groups, academia, industry in a broad range of applied and theoretical areas within machine intelligence and learning. We encourage the submission of early ideas, late-breaking results, or open research questions that are likely to generate interesting discussions.

Conference Overview: Data-driven approaches have become a paradigm of choice for experimental modeling, understanding and discovery. Prompted by advances in sensing capabilities, and algorithms (such as statistical modelling, deep neural networks, machine learning) as well by increased computational capabilities, Artificial Intelligence continues to proliferate in diverse application areas.

Presentations at ConfAI 2023 will also look at fundamental contributions in AI and Data Science. We extend a call for papers in the theory of AI (such as algorithms, representation learning, data models, various inference methods, privacy, and related domains), AI applications (such as natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, agriculture, healthcare, AI for social good), and techno-philosophy (Ethics of AI) among others.

This AI themed conference will offer participants a unique opportunity to network, share, learn, and be inspired by the best from academia, industry, and the government. We will also have keynotes and invited talks from leaders in AI and Data Science.

Areas of interest are as follows:

• Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning

• Applications (e.g., Speech Processing, Computer Vision, NLP, Agriculture, Healthcare, Finance)

• Machine Learning for Sciences (e.g., Biology, Physics, Health Sciences, Social Sciences)

• Optimization and Probabilistic Methods for AI

• Bias in AI Algorithms and Data Collection

• Social Aspects of AI (e.g., AI Safety, Fairness, Privacy, Interpretability, Human-AI Interaction, Ethics)

Papers in other related areas are welcome as well.

Paper Submission guidelines:

Authors can submit papers in a single column format (preferably 4-6 pages). We welcome papers/ posters/ demos from research groups, academia, industry in a broad range of applied and theoretical areas within machine intelligence and learning.

We encourage the submission of early ideas, extended abstracts, late-breaking results, or open research questions that are likely to generate interesting discussions. Submissions will be reviewed by experts in the field.

Apart from novel contributions, we also invite posters by PhD scholars and researchers which have been presented at a top-tier conference venue (e.g. CORE-ranked A or A* venues) or accepted in a top-tier journal between Jan 2022 and Jan 2023.

Submissions are accepted in .pdf format only. The submitting author must be registered at https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ and upload the paper by creating a submission under conference link: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ConfAI2023. A submission acknowledgement with paper number will be emailed to the author.

The selected papers will be published on the conference webpage and be invited for a contributed talk and / or a poster presentation. Outstanding contributions, after due revisions, will be recommended for submission to ACM Digital Library.
